No instructions, but if you knkow what you are doing you can figure it out. I give it ******* Stainless Steel and comes with the proper fitting for a new or existing installation.
Review: Defective from the first use — unsafe ballast smoked and overheated - I ordered this UV Sterilizer on July 11, 2025 and received it on July 28. I only had the chance to install it about 30 days later, and on first use the unit completely failed. Within 5–10 seconds of being plugged in, the ballast started smoking and overheating. I had to unplug it immediately to prevent a fire hazard. When I contacted desertcart, I was redirected to the seller, but they only offer a 30-day warranty, by desertcart. That is unacceptable — a product like this should be safe and reliable well beyond 30 days, especially since this was defective from the very first use (DOA). The ballast claims "Quality Control Passed" with a sticker, but apparently that was not true, or the construction was very poor. This product is unsafe, and I cannot recommend it. Buyers should be very cautious.

**Q: What fittings can I use to connect the tubing to a standard plumbing wall valve or wall valve hose?**
A: This is for osmosis type tubing, 1/4" standard

**Q: It is normal for the water to come out hot while the tap is not being used, as I can prevent this**
A: Yes, ours is warm not hot. That lets you know it is working without in our case going into the basement to check. If it is cold when you turn the water on after sitting then your bulb may need to be changed.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ VERY HAPPY, Clean Water, great quality, no plastic parts

I had bought another UV light for about the same price and it was a plastic housing and made my water taste like plastic. THIS one is excellent. Easy to install, stainless steel and Quartz (feels like glass to me, not sure the difference) so no chemical run off. I Cleaned everything with soap and water prior to install and then ran about 1/2 my tank to clean out and debris on the filter. Water is great, no fear of bacteria/virus from our well water. Now time for a whole house!!!!
