A: It very well may be. I would not purchase it if there is a concern for allergies.

**Q: can this be used to make mousse ?**
A: Since mousse doesn't involve tempering the chocolate, you "could", but this isn't really "white chocolate", it's "white wafers", and that's not a "typo", these are made with NO cocoa butter at all. You would be better off using a higher quality product.
