Feeds gels well when using hardened gel ammo 7-8mm. Loading the drum was easiest when i used a small plastic funnel to pour gel beads into the hatch. The metal contacts are sturdy and I haven't had any issues with corrosion. I completely empty all gels after use and leave hatch open to allow to air dry. So far I've put about 20,000 rounds through it with no issues.
