Review: Best I’ve tried so far! - My toddler is getting close to the age of 3 and it’s time to phase out taking rectal temps. I tried a few other thermometers that consistently gave inaccurate results. The Braun ThermoScan 5 is easy to use, results are fast, and it is very accurate! I feel confident using this and trust the results. There’s nothing worse than thinking your kid has a fever and getting a “normal” temp when they’re obviously warm. This has eliminated so much stress around fevers. This model (version 5) was on a great sale when I got it, I had been going back and forth between this one and the latest version and the price on this sold me! I also realized I probably didn’t haaaaave to have the one that connected to my phone if it was gonna save me 50% of the money lol

The Braun ThermoScan 5 is easy to use, results are fast, and it is very accurate! I feel confident using this and trust the results. I recently bought a cheaper touchless forehead thermometer for about $15 with tons of good reviews, but it was totally inaccurate and unreliable, so I returned it. After that I decided to buy this Braun again, because I had the same one before and used it for about six years until we lost it during moving. This thermometer has never failed me, it always gives consistent and accurate readings, and I never have to second guess if the temperature is correct. As a mom, this is very important for me since my kids get sick often and I need to know real numbers, not guesses. Yes, it costs more, but it is definitely worth the money for peace of mind and quality. I would rather pay a little extra and trust the result. Buying it for the second time and still very happy with it, highly recommend.
