The adhesive sides to the back when unraveled to tape your lyra so it’s extremely sticky and gets al over your hands and clothes. The adhesive also bleeds out of the tape when warmed (your hands hold one spot of the lyra too long). It does this even when you chalk over the sticky parts. It is REALLY sticky, when it sticks to itself it will NOT come back off. But on skin or doberman ears with hair, it can be taken off easily without pain, and without removing hair. Wonderful stuff, just really hard to handle in longer pieces. Again, once it sticks to itself, or folds in on itself, it is stuck forever. and you will have to start over with a new piece.
