Reliability
1st I will say to the manufacturer/distributer, instructions in English would have been helpful. Pictographs and single word "instructions" arent as herlpful as u may have thought. But i will say its great product . Been running it str8 for 48 hrs and it has not crashed or skipped. i like it a lot!!!

Bad instructions
Works well if you can get it to work. As others have stated, instructions are all in Chinese. Cool design, connects well, and is a pretty good price. But the instructions issue kind of kills it for me.

Perfect for having "Your TV" wherever you go.
Quick and easy setup. Plug the HDMI in the back of the TV and then find some USB power for the unit. I just used the port on the TV, but if you got a long enough USB cable you can just use your phone charger. There's a big Chinese language filled landing page on the TV, which probably is the instructions to connect your device. But as long as you know how to cast your phone, you should be good to go. I use SmartView on Android. Found the product on list and was connected right away. What I wanted this for, was when traveling. Either at a hotel, friend or relatives house and just being able to boot up all my steaming subscriptions. Worked perfectly for that and I was watching my TV with no problems. Picture quality also looked better than many of other casting apps I have used before. Even thoughs built in to good TVs. Then keep in mind it is also your phone's internet quality too that will give you varying qualities of picture. But all and all it looks pretty much like a HD clear picture.I also tried playing Video Games on there too with Xbox Gamepass. Came through great but there is a bit of a delay from the phone to the device. That's generally just a wireless casting issue. I noticed it too while selecting a movie as well. It's like a second away from what you do on the phone to the TV. So, it's not the ideal way but games are still playable. RPGs being the easier choice to go with. Movies and TV it's never an issue.Perfect for having your TV wherever you go. Almost could be a perfect minimalist approach too if you really wanted to minus things down in your house. You phone could be your full TV streaming box. If the games didn't suffer from that extra second or so delay, it could almost be your all in one gaming station too. Still, it's just so nice having my movie choices and in excellent looking picture quality. Plus, you can turn your phone screen off and it sill plays. Some devices I have won't do that. Very cool!

Couldn't read the instructions, so was unable to finalize setup
I went to setup the wireless dongle and once your TV recognizes the device, you are greeted with setup instructions that is entirely in Japanese. There is a visual aid but it is not very helpful. I was also surprised to see that while the dongle comes with a power cable, it doesn't come with an AC adapter. I had to use the AC adapter from a different device to set it up. When my TV finally recognized the device, I began testing its capabilities. I was able to mirror my phone relatively easily. However, I was unable to connect my PC wirelessly to the dongle, which is why i got it in the first place. It just couldn't pick up the Hagibis signal that was supposed to be there. The setup instructions were not useful to me since they are in Japanese and I don't speak that language. The two QR codes seen in the photo bring you to a site that has a 404 error and to the app store where you are prompted to download an app to chat. I was able to intuitivly mirror my phone to my TV/PC screen, however I was unable to do anything else with it. I found this item difficult to set up/understand and was ultimately unable to use it for my desired intent - pulling up my PC screen on my TV.

Plug and Play Easy For a Specific Use Case
As a samsung phone user for years, I have had little success actually using Dex. I was excited for wireless dex, but disappointed because it requires miracast. If you use Samsung TVs, then miracast is built-in. Other manufacturers have abandoned that feature, so if I want to use my phone as a computer on my sony TV, I would need a miracast dongle. Microsoft sells a dongle, but it is limited to 1080p. When I saw this item's listing, I expected it to be useless, but I am pleased to say that it not only worked, it worked seamless and without any setup required. The box the dongle comes in was unassuming cardboard with a plastic insert. There is a usb cable included for power, which I plugged into my TV's usb port. On boot, the dongle displays a static image of text that I assume are instructions. I don't know for sure since it is in chinese and I found no way of changing it.That was as far as I got before trying to cast a screen to it. My galaxy fold 5 supports mirroring and wireless dex. Both modes worked flawlessly, instantly identifying the nearby dongle and casting an image to it. At no point did I need to manually connect to the dongle's wifi hotspot. On my Windows 11 computer, I was able to cast my screen using the built-in cast toggle, and it also found the dongle immediately. Resolution was set to 2160p, but resolution was stuck at 30hz and could not be adjusted higher. On both devices, input latency was very high at nearly a second. This dongle is not usable for gaming.Overall, I am happy to have a more convenient solution for sharing to my TV. I wish the dongle's menu was multilingual, and I also wish it did reach 60hz at 4k, but for something so cheap, it is easily one of the best options I have found for this narrow use case
