Review: Great on a motorcycle! No more wind noise! - Just used these for the first time on my motorcycle (reason for buying them), worn for 3 hours. Full-face helmet (Bell MX9 Adventure MIPS, a fairly noisy helmet) on a DRZ400S. Mixture of 55-60 mph roads & slow dirt trails. Sound blocking [with included Comply memory tips]: Absolutely zero problems with wind noise, which was my biggest issue with certain foam plugs. Certain foamies left my ears ringing after the ride from wind noise even though I had put them in the proper way. Extremely happy these block the wind noise as I find the wind noise to be super distracting to the ride & makes it less enjoyable. These block all of it up until ~55 mph, than there's a little bit, but it's tolerable. My bike isn't loud, but these definitely dampen a lot of the engine & exhaust sound too. Honestly these probably would block a lot of environment noise, maybe you'd hear a loud horn, but I didn't hear much other environment noise on my ride, even at slow speeds. Could be a pro or con depending on your take on it. Volume: Didn't have to go super high on the volume, which is great. Even at 55-60 mph the sound was clear and never had to crank the volume to hear the music. If you have to turn it louder, you're not protecting your hearing. Sound quality: Pretty good. Really good, crisp mids. I was actually off the bike taking a break on the trails and heard some "new" interesting, subtle background parts on songs I've listened to a hundred times before. The bass leaves a little bit to be desired, I think some other reviews say the same. But it's not "thin" sounding, like really cheap earbuds, by any means. Overall I'm impressed. Take this with a grain of salt because some reviews said there's a break-in period and the sound gets better with time. Fit & comfort: Started to get a little irritating around the 3 hour mark, but nothing too bad, only took them out once in the 3 hours. I saw some people say they couldn't get a full-face helmet on with these, I had no issue of them falling out when putting the helmet on, you just have to be sure to "spread" the sides of the helmet as you're sliding it over your head (which is the proper way anyway). Even if I felt one a little out of place (there was no complete dislodges after putting the helmet on) I was able to reach up into the helmet from underneath and tweak them a bit. Taking the helmet off becomes a little bit painful as it tends to rip them right out of your ear, nothing too bad though. Durability: Obviously can't comment on this yet. Today wasn't hot at all and I wasn't sweating at all really, so I'm hoping they hold up to sweat. The only "negative" thing I have to say about these is that I wish that replacement Comply tips were cheaper than they are. I can see the ones I have getting nasty once the hotter weather comes. Overall these seem like a must have if you want to block wind & engine noise while also listening to some tunes. I don't leave reviews often but these are worth the money, if they hold up!
Review: One of the best $300 IEM (that costs $50) - I have owned and auditioned many other mid-range IEM and M6 Pro 2nd Gen is the best IEM I have heard so far, regardless the price. I have listened to 1st gen M6 during the trip in Japan. Its upper mid and lower treble got out of control, causing harsh sound in the vocal. However, I noticed that the bass and mid-treble is quite nice. I looked up on rtings.com to see 1st gen M6 reviews and they basically confirmed it. With that being said, when I saw the promo FR graph for M6 2nd gen, I knew M6 2nd would address the problems that the 1st gen had. And lo and behold, it did. Listening to M6 Pro is a joy. The bass is deep, punchy, yet decently light and not bloated. The mid/vocal is slightly pushed back for a little bit, but it is not too bad. It is pretty standard for a V-shaped mid. The treble is very nice. It is neither recessed nor sibilant. The treble of M6 will not cause fatigue for a long listening session or lack of initial excitement. Comparisons: Mee P1/PX: P1 has better soundstage, musical instrument separation than M6 and is among the best I've heard in those regards. However, it lacks the bass that prevents itself from being my go-to everyday IEM. Listening to vocal and orchestral music is a joy with P1 though. Mee P2: My being favorite for a while, but I always yearn for slightly more bass and slightly less treble when listening to this. M6 is the answer for what I wish I could change about Mee P2. iBasso IT01: My current favorite IEM. The bass has more slam, the mid is slightly more forward, and the treble is done very well, with slightly less mid-treble and more upper-treble compared to M6. My issue with IT01 is that it is really bulky and none of the ear tips that fit wells, has good isolation. It is a chore to wear this as it feels bulky. It is a constant reminder that you are wearing a pair of IEM. Massdrop Plus: The "reference" sound, or so they say. I think that MD+ has done best is it linear and elevated bass. The "reference" mid (following Harman's target response) curve makes vocal too forward to me as if the vocal is not in the center of the band anymore, but rather in front of that band, blocking the view for the rest of the member. I am not used to this vocal forwardness. The treble is almost too recessed for the sake of eliminating sibilance. I'd love this MD+ if it has less mid and more treble. Too bad. I really want it to be the best IEM. But I have to honest with myself. Other IEMs that I tried: Fiio F9 Pro: The 8khz peak. Nope. Good product as a whole with presentation and accessories. The sound is quite harsh (I assume the non-Pro is even worse). RHA MA750i: I don't have these anymore but I remembered it being very V-shaped. Very bassy and bright. Non-detachable, flimsy cable. 1More Triple: decent but the vocal, though having the warmth, lacks detail. Undetachable (albeit durable feeling) cable. I don't like M6 Pro cable. They are very spongy and they use 2mm DC connector so there is no aftermarket cable that I can replace. But at least the cable is replaceable and it is quite durable. Very spongy and I dislike the memory wire. For a $50, I can take it I suppose. I have no financial gain for writing this review.

## Features

- MADE FOR MUSIC: 2nd-generation M6 Pro in-ear monitors utilize a 5um driver diaphragm and aluminum voice coil to produce more precise movement than conventional drivers, delivering clear, full-range audio with more accurate mids and smoother highs.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: The sound quality of in-ear monitors is highly dependent on how well the earbud tips seal in your canals. If your M6 PRO monitors sound thin, tinny, and/or distant and the bass seems weak or nonexistent, they have not achieved a good seal with your ears. Try switching one or both eartips to a different size and pushing gently on the outside of your monitors to check your seal. The correct eartip for each ear will feel sealed, reduce outside noise, and provide balanced bass response. Note: you may have to use a different size in each ear.
- SOUND-ISOLATING DESIGN: closed-back earpiece design and 7 pairs of eartips - including Comply T-Series memory foam tips - reduce ambient noise levels, enabling safer listening volumes and improving sound quality for a superior audio experience.
- MEMORY WIRE EARHOOKS: flexible memory wire that conforms perfectly to your ears and seven pairs of included eartips provide a personalized, secure fit that stays comfortable all day and never falls out.
- REAL-WORLD RELIABILITY, 2 CABLES INCLUDED: built to last with a sweat-resistant design and detachable, user-replaceable cables; works with all devices with standard 3.5mm (1/8") or 6.3mm (1/4") headphone/stereo audio jack; IN THE BOX: regular audio cable, headset cable with mic/remote for laptops and mobile devices, carrying case, Comply foam eartips, silicone eartips (6 pairs), 1/4" (6.3mm) adapter.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great set of headphones
*by W***4 on July 5, 2026*

Really an amazing deal for in ear buds. Have used Shure 215s for 20 years when not using my over ear headphones for the convivence. Sound quality covers a larger frequency range with a deeper base but still neutral. The durability of the units is looking really good with the plastic being beefy so I don't expect cracking, cable connects very securely, but there is a trade off there. It doesn't spin in place and is fixed. That works fine for me as I adjust the cable, but it is noticeable if your used to having that freedom. Comes with lots of variety of silicone tips if that is your thing, but I prefer foam tips. thankfully it includes 1 pair of very dense foam inserts, but and this is my only complaint, it was smashed against something hard in the packaging so they were not round and after 2 days have not returned to their shape. I still use them and they are comfortable, but one does not seal well so looking for replacements. Overall an easy recommendation and would buy again.
