I’d been thinking of cooling gel pads for a while, and the inclusion of new pairs of the inner foam helped seal the deal. They fit to spec and feel great, but they are thicker and a boxier shape than the original Sony pads, so do expect that it will make the headset appear a bit bulkier visually, but not in a way that negatively impacts comfort. The sound is fantastic, as usual, which is to say these pads don’t have any negative impacts on the sound.
