## Overview

Featuring a secure 868 MHz RF connection with up to 30m range, it offers flexible placement without wiring. Pre-paired for quick installation, it supports most UK boilers with volt-free or 230V switching. Its built-in TPI algorithm optimizes boiler operation for consistent comfort and energy efficiency, while integrated frost protection safeguards your home during cold spells. Ideal for professionals and DIYers seeking a cost-effective, no-fuss upgrade from wired thermostats.

## Description

The Salus RT310 is a reliable digital wired room thermostat designed for straightforward control of your home heating. It is ideal for properties with existing wired thermostats, offering a simple upgrade from older manual dial or basic digital units without the need to change your heating system. Compatible with most UK combi boilers and conventional heating systems, the RT310 supports both volt-free and 230V switching. This makes it suitable for a wide range of installations, whether you are replacing an existing thermostat or fitting a new wired heating control. The thermostat uses TPI control technology, which helps regulate how your boiler operates throughout the day. Instead of simply switching on and off at fixed points, it adjusts heat delivery to maintain a more stable room temperature. This can improve comfort while helping to reduce energy waste compared to traditional thermostats. Designed with ease of use in mind, the RT310 features simple up and down controls for adjusting temperature instantly. There are no complicated menus or schedules to manage, making it a practical choice for households that want consistent heating without programming. The large LCD display with blue backlight ensures the temperature is always clear and easy to read, even in low light conditions. Its compact, modern design allows it to sit neatly on the wall, replacing bulkier or outdated controls. Installation is straightforward, using standard 2-wire or 3-wire connections and fitting most common wall backplates. It can be installed by a professional or used as a direct DIY replacement where appropriate. For added protection, the RT310 includes built-in frost protection, helping to prevent pipes from freezing during colder weather by activating the heating if temperatures drop too low. Powered by 2 AA batteries, the thermostat retains its settings during power cuts, ensuring your heating system is ready to resume normal operation without needing to be reset. A practical and dependable solution for anyone looking for a non-programmable wired thermostat that delivers consistent heating control with minimal effort.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Hi, i need to replace the thermostat rt305tx. will i be able to use this model rt310rf without replacing the controller at the boiler? many thanks**
A: It is recommended you use the dedicated receiver for the new model. You might be able to pair it with the old unit, but, you will need to change a channel if it doesn't pair with it...

**Q: Can i use this device to replace a honeywell t6360b1028 stat. the stat only has 3 wires but the rt310rf has four. thanks.**
A: The salus works on radio waves with the receiver wired into the boiler controls so doing away with any wiring for the thermostat.

**Q: Considering I have a Combi Boiler, does the boiler provide hot water at all times, no matter what the heating is programmed to?**
A: Yes, this doesn't affect the hot water, it simply turns the boiler on and off for central heating depending on what you set the temperature to. If you have a timer on the front of your boiler then it will only operate when the timer is on.

**Q: Is it compatible with a Logic combo 24**
A: Hi. Even if it was compatible l wouldn't recommend it. Very unreliable. The last one out of four, lasted less than a year. Avoid if l was you.
