They have answered everyone of my e-mails. **Q: Is this OK to use with freshwater snails?** A: I chuckled when I saw your question; I use this product every time I do a water change, and since last winter I have been battling snails that came in unbeknownst to me on some plants (75 gal freshwater tank, lightly planted with low light tolerant plants). And they are prolific!! Based on my experience, I would say it it doesn't harm snails HOWEVER, not being an aqua-malacologist, I don't know if different species of snails react differently to meds.
