**Q: Do these ever go old or is there no expiration date on them? Any experience with that?**
A: There’s no expectation date. 
The bisquettes are delicate.  
The number one item to avoid is moisture. They will crumble. 
Store unused bisquettes in a zip loc bag and squeeze most of the air out of the bag before zipping it.

**Q: Do you soak these in water before putting in your smoker**
A: No, you do not soak the bisquettes in water. They are pushed out to the heating plate dry, where they burn/smolder for 20 minutes, then next one pushes burnt one off the edge of heat plate into bowl of water to extinguish it.

I really like these bisquettes and they provide very consistent quality smoke. I switch between hickory, oak and mesquite. The price on Amazon has doubled recently. The price on Bradley direct is decent, but the delivery is as much as the pucks almost. Stumbled on Home Depot.com and you can get the 48 pack for cheaper than 24 here, and free shipping. Actually, I just got free next 9 shipping on two 48 packs.
