## Description

Activon Tube contains 100% Manuka honey with no additives from New Zealand. Our Manuka honey is filtered and sterilised, making it suitable for application to wounds. Manuka honey will de-bride and de-slough, eliminate odours and provides a moist wound healing environment. Activon Tube is ideal for debriding necrotic tissue, or for topping up dressings where the honey has been washed away by exudate. Great for using in cavities, just wash away with saline solution.

Review: It works wonders! - Wonderful stuff! I had an ulcer between my toes which simply would not heal. It was weeping and extremely painful. I'm waiting for surgery to correct the alignment but it's a long wait. I googled treatment for bed sores and came across this ointment, and thought I would give it a try. It has very quickly dried up the ulcer and stopped the dreadful pain from it. I've only been using it for three days so far but I am very, very glad that I found this.

A: The gel inside my tube is smooth , or has the tube you have is out of date , which might cause it to be gritty, ,

**Q: Can this be used under the eye?**
A: The information leaflet states
For use on Activon® honey impregnated wound dressings or as a wound filler, directly
onto the wound bed, for partial or full thickness wounds including; sloughy wounds,
pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, burns, graft sites and malodorous wounds.
There are no warnings about using on the face or near eyes but we would recommend checking with your GP before use

**Q: Can it be used on lips/split corners?**
A: No, I would not recommend that , it is very sticky, and I found it did nit work for me.

Wonderful stuff! I had an ulcer between my toes which simply would not heal. It was weeping and extremely painful. I'm waiting for surgery to correct the alignment but it's a long wait.
