Let's me see at a glance just how much it is pulling from the battery without the need of a high powered USB diagnostic setup. LED is surprisingly bright and you will not want to sleep with it on the charging cable. Only caveat is that the construction makes it easy to pull too hard and the cover will slide off. When this happens the transparent plate for the LED comes off completely. You will to carefully epoxy it back together. For your money though, you will be hard pressed to find a better device to tell you how fast your device is charging.
