My wife set it up and had not realised we already had a noticeable Botanica Air Wick diffuser also in the same room. Not only did this mask the existing diffuser from a different brand big brand, but since it's use it's been very present but not overbearing. It's almost like if somone had perfume and had recently been in a room. That's the best desrciption I can give on how "loud" the strenght is. So it's subtle enough to not be overpowering but strong enough to notice it all the time. And this was in a Medium sized room.
