However, there is an engineering flaw. The adaptor PCIe part that connects to the motherboard PCIe x16 slot is too short. It make the adaptor leaning a little bit which in some cases cause a short on the motherboard as reported by some users. The adaptor MUST be horizontal to the motherboard's PCIe slot. The only way to fix it is to remove the lock clip on the motherboards's PCIe x16 slot. Be very careful when attempting to remove the clip as it may break. I've used a Philips screw driver and gently pushed in the clip hole to make the clip legs going outward. Please have a look at the pictures and you will understand what I mean by the adaptor leaning. Obviously, green is good and red is bad.
