Review: It really stick to surfaces... - ...but this stuff dries very fast. You need to work fast...move from small section to next small section, don't come back to a previous small section or you will pick-up that pain that you laid on.
Review: This is the BEST primer ever! - This primer works for glass, metal and ceramic tile. It makes painting those surfaces easier, and the paint stays! It is water based so cleanup is a breeze. I turned terra cotta ceramic tile (non-shiny like the floor in the photos) kitchen counter tops to light gray, and they are beautiful. The key is STIX, following directions and patience. I did a lot of research prior to selecting STIX. I cleaned the surface thoroughly with Krud Klutter bought on desertcart, applied 2 coats of STIX, 2 coats of Sherwin Williams best quality water-based paint, and 3 coats of AllPro WaterBorne acrylic polyurethane (satin finish). I let the STIX and paint dry 24-36 hours per coat and the urethane dry 3-5 days between coats. The success is all due to the STIX!! Project time was about 3 weeks as I had time to work on it. It's been in use about 6 weeks. Now I can just wipe the grout along with the surface of the tile - beautiful.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Hello, what is the best paint (primer) brush to use when applying this AND the best way to clean it afterward?  Thank you**
A: I've had success with using a foam brush when priming cellular PVC panels (which are very smooth) with Sitx.   Water sufficed for clean-up.

**Q: Woud this be the best product to tile over tile on my shower floor? The tile is in good shape, just slippery.**
A: This paint is made when the paint doesn't stick good, there's a special anti slip paint which is called sure step and it ls available in a few colors

**Q: Can I use oil based paint over it? Trying to paint bathroom floor tiles.**
A: You can apply just about anything over This product.  I've applied it to kitchen cabinets that we're oil base and did no sanding and worked great.

**Q: Do you use a brush or roller to apply this?**
A: I used a brush; it's pretty thick.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really good primer

This is great primer… it’s a stronger latex compound ( latex + polyurethane I think) and really sticks to whatever you’re preparing to paint. It adheres well and only needs one coat before going on to the regular paint, but… it’s thin and so what, it’s a primer, so you only need one coat and more coats aren’t really necessary anyway.
