The squared stove pipe top aspect you see in the product image will squash more flat with use, but will always look more like a cadet cap than a baseball cap. They launder well and will shrink a tiny bit with drying (they are cotton) but will expand back to normal after a few wearings. They fade and "age" well like old jeans (again, cotton). Side note: I was once "thanked for my service" by a drunk college student while wearing an olive version of this hat at a beer patio. It happened with that hat, once, and I have four of these in different colors.
