In terms of the buckle, I noticed that the non-chrome buckles come with a coating gives them a nice appearance, but unfortunately the coating scratches off within a few weeks of use. This is something that other reviewers have also mentioned so isn’t a one off. To avoid this issue, I would suggest choosing a belt with a chrome buckle instead. One of the things that truly impressed me about this belt is that despite daily use, there are no signs of wear where the buckle goes through the belt, even after two years of use. This is something that I was not expecting for this price.
