Such a deal, but the shoes did not fit well and I returned them. Today, a pair of sandals that I almost never wore because they were too close to pink cried out to me, saying "make me brown!" They are smooth leather and not what this dye is designed for, but I took a chance. The finished result is not perfect, not entirely even, but the color is what I wanted and I will now wear the shoes.
