Second I used the provided leather applicator and using green fine I applied it to the smooth leather covering it completely. The supplied jar was just enough. I then repeated the process on the rough leather side using white polish. You must wait 24 hours for the polish to harden. I then stropped my sharpened knife on the green polished leather. You can feel the fine grit. I then wiped my blade and tested the result. The blade is sharper and I am able to say my experience with Bacher polish has been a positive one for sure. I threw away my stick polishes. I found a much better product. Price to value is measured by the quality results. For me it's worth every cent.
