Since receiving this a couple of weeks ago she can now say the names of 80% of the animals, and she will then play the correct noise for each. She could only say a few animals before this, like dog, bird, pig, horse, but in a few days she was saying so many of them! The only ones she struggles with is the likes of octopus, caterpillar, etc but they are hard words! I know she is at an age where she is a sponge, and all children develop at different paces, but I do think this book helped her pick up the words quicker as she could play with it by herself and press the words over and over again so she was really learning each word. The pages are made out of paper, however so will be prone to rips. My main issue with the book is that the buttons need to be pressed with a bit more force. While it may something that's not really considered by most, for the kids who have sensory/motor issues it's a big thing. My brother managed to understand he needs to press harder, but this may not be the case for everyone so it's something to consider before purchasing.
