HA!A little review, found this and LOVE the fish-eye lens even more than the original non-wide angle lens.Screwed it in, fiddled with focus (screw in and out until it's clear) set with clear silicone around the bezel and has been fine for a year now.Good to go purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ring cam Floodlight replacement lens *by S***. on September 14, 2024* IT WORKS ON MY RING FLOODLIGHT CAM !!! (after a bit of work - see below)I've read a lot about the Ring floodlight cam lens' going blurry and/or the small glass plate protecting the lens falling out due to either bad design and/or just normal aging. Both of these things happened to two of my three ring cams. First the glass protective cover fell off and shortly afterwards the cams became blurry and/or exhibiting pink zones in the viewing app. I was bothered to read that the Ring support does not help other than trying to sell you new replacement units. Suffice to say I wasn't about to put out $400 to have this happen again in a few years.AND SO I bought this lens on Amazon for $9, I was able to drill out the old lens and then unscrew it with a regular screwdriver. Once I screwed in the new lens (being careful not to mis-thread it, and realizing the stem of the new lens was about 1/8 in longer than the factory lens) I did not get a clear picture at all. It was out of focus and I figured it was worth the $9 to try to fix it. THEN AS I BEGAN UNSCREWING THE NEW LENS (to abandon my hopes), I SAW IT WAS SLOWLY COMING INTO FOCUS ON MY RING APP! It's definitely a fisheye lens but it is a clear picture and in focus!!! Because it was not tightly screwed in anymore, I applied white silicon caulk with a toothpick around the outside rim of the lens (as well as a small amount on the threads as I removed it to do so). Making sure the picture was again in focus, with the wipe of a wet Q-tip I wiped off the remaining caulk and BINGO! I am good to go!!!The only downfall is that the glass cover that fell off originally does not fit back on due to the lens protruding out a bit, BUT who cares! I can easily replace the actual lens over and over if needed at $9 a shot. I saw a review afterwards pretty much saying to do what I had done and so this small inexpensive fix saved me at least $400 on replacing the cams with new ones that no doubt might happen a again over time. GREAT FIX! You need to be a little bit of a handyman to do this in my opinion. The old lens is held by some glue in side and you might need to work it gently but firmly to get it to unscrew. Again I drilled a hole right into the lens then forced a small flat head in the hole I drilled to force the lens to turn. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ring Camera Replacement Lens *by J***E on December 26, 2024* At first I was not sure if it would work as I screwed it in to far since I didn't have the glue spacer from which I removed when I originally took out the old lens.
