The book isn't about marketing at all. It's actually called business planning inside.  Don't waste your time. I wanted to learn about marketing. If I wanted to learn to write a business plan, I'd have got a book on that instead. Maybe the print version is different but this one looks like the wrong book.Just checked - it is the wrong book. The text of the Business Planning book in this series is the same as this one. Do not buy the Kindle version of this book if you want the marketing one.Update:The publisher has sorted the above problem and what you get is now Marketing. I found this a useful introduction to the subject and learnt a lot about the basics. This has been really useful in working with external consultants who are experts and allowed me to keep up - and advise where the specific public sector constraints affect the plan.
