They kept 12 people reasonably warm (ambient air temperature was only 7 degree). but you could feel the heat reduction when the wind blew. The remote control is definitely a plus as you can set the required setting from the comfort of your seat. The 4 legged stand does mean that you need a bit of space to place them, but they were certainly stable and I had no concerns about them possibly tipping over.
