For all tests that are not carried out in the laboratory (e.g. the sticks), there may be measurement deviations due to application errors. Please note that 1) the titration liquid has room temperature, 2) the bottle with the titration liquid at an angle of approx. 45° when you drip in the titration liquid, 3) actually 5 ml of water in the test tube and 4) after each drop that has been dripped, you can swing the measuring tube sufficiently. It is also important to know that reference values (other tests, water hardness data from the waterwork) may be inaccurate. The hardness level indicated by the water works can vary by up to 5° German hardness within the same day, which is due to the fact that waters are mixed with different hardnesses. Bisogna essere molto precisi nella quantità di acqua che va inserita nella provetta (5cc esatti), quindi agitare bene dopo ogni singola goccia di reagente. Quando si è prossimi al valore della durezza effettiva (ovvero dopo un certo numero di gocce stillate), una singola goccia di reagente è sufficiente a far cambiare completamente colore all'acqua nella provetta (bisogna agitare bene!).
