## Description

The KBS Cycle Tank Sealer Kit contains everything you need to seal a tank of up to 6 gallons. The kit contains a quart of KBS Klean, a quart of RustBlast, 8oz of Tank Sealer, Black Nitrile Gloves, Stir Stick and Detailed Instructions.

## Features

- COMPLETE 3-STEP KIT: Everything for one tank in one box: a quart of KBS Klean degreaser, a quart of RustBlast rust remover and metal etch, 8 fl oz of Gold Standard Tank Sealer, a brush, a stir stick and a pair of gloves. Clean, prep and seal without hunting for extra products.
- SEALS TANKS UP TO 5 GALLONS: Sized for motorcycle, dirt bike, ATV, generator, lawn mower, snowmobile and small tractor tanks. Works on steel, aluminum and fiberglass tanks. For a plastic tank, use the KBS Plastic Tank Sealer Kit.
- STOPS RUST AND SEALS PINHOLES: Tank Sealer bonds directly to prepped rust and cures into a non-porous, lightly pigmented silver coating that seals pinholes and weld seams and keeps rust from coming back. The film stays flexible, so it moves with the tank instead of cracking loose.
- MADE FOR TODAY'S FUEL: Once cured, Gold Standard Tank Sealer is impervious to all modern fuels and alcohol additives, including E10, E15 and E85 ethanol blends and diesel, and to most solvents. A properly coated tank is rated to 600°F operating temperature.
- HOW IT WORKS: Clean the tank with KBS Klean. Soak it with RustBlast for 30 to 60 minutes, rolling it every 5 minutes, then drain, rinse once and dry completely. Pour in Tank Sealer, rotate the tank for up to 30 minutes to coat every surface, drain the excess and let it cure 96 hours with the openings open before adding fuel.

**Q: Does it hurt the exterior paint? My tank has a nice finish on the outside but the inside lining is peeling and there is some rust.**
A: The cleaner will not, the rust blast will absolutely destroy your paint, and you will not be able to remove the coating material from any surface once it dries. Watch the YouTube video on it, it is awesome and very helpful and instructs to protect the outer finish

**Q: How do the sealant hold up againt racing fuel ?**
A: I build harleys , and this is the only permanent seal to use , as I said PERMANENT. ITS WHAT SHOULD ONLY BE USED EVEN WITH RACING FUEL , The other products are temporary sealants that lack off rubber in your tank , hope this helps you

**Q: I have an aluminum tank. Will this work for aluminum?**
A: Yes, the Fuel Tank Sealer Kit works flawlessly on aluminum tanks. Because aluminum can be very smooth, please be sure to etch all of the sides of your tank with the RustBlast for a minimum of 30-45 minutes on each side.

**Q: Im buying a new 4 gallon tank. Would i still need to use the rust remover solution or can i skip that part? Just use the cleaner and sealer?**
A: RustBlast is an acid etch. A new tank is typically very slick and lacks surface profile. RustBlast will etch the surface and give an ideal surface profile so that the Tank Sealer sticks really well.
