In theory it's a good idea, and during use it's an even beter idea. Some people might find it too rough, it's definitely not meant for a light all around massage, this is targeted relief. The Acu-Masseur looks like an S&M torture device, but there is no doubt of what it is, it's so good at it's intended function.
