However, this does not take VHS tapes. Note that I use printable discs because I print on them in my Epson printer.The simple answer is to buy a small quantity of discs and try them! **Q: Can i burn a mp4 video on to these and watch it in my dvd player?** A: I have been doing just that for years with these. But I burn them as an mp4 video, that's been downloaded from a site that allows you choose quality. My burnt discs play on my external H/D, My PlayStation 3 and my BLUERAY player. It's become annoying that after the ps3, ps4 and other consoles seem to delete your right to burn your mp3 or cd music or video files onto them. Causing real problems. I have 500 dvd-r completed discs. I would have to find another ps3 to burn them all back again. Ps3 plays back at HD 1080 quality.
