Review: Great for sweatpants! - I've had these for over a year and love them. I'm writing this review because I came back to this page to order more. I use them for good 'ole sweat pants. Typically, from the store, sweat pants have standard cotton drawstrings (not stretchy). As a big guy, in order to keep sweatpants from sliding down, I need to tie the string so tightly that I can barely breathe. These stretchy Gi drawstrings have just enough stretch in them as to hold up your sweatpants without having to be pulled uncomfortably tight. They are a bit thick and therefore somewhat tricky to feed through the hole and work around the waist. But once they're in, they won't come out in the dryer. TIP: Use the old string (if it's not broken) to pull the new Gi drawstring through. Or buy a "Quick Drawstring Threader" for five dollars such as http://www.desertcart.com/dp/B007BOODP6. Works great.
Review: Good gi cord - Decent stretch, large enough for someone 2x as large as me (6', 175 lbs). No complaints, does the job well. Did cut and burn the ends, but that's expected.
