Review: Better Than What I Was Hoping For - Great quality. Bold, saturated color. Works very well as a Bible highlighter. There’s absolutely no bleeding through the page, because the texture is more waxy (sort of like a crayon, but not quite). The colors blend together well and glide on like butter, which I love. I found no transfer on Bible paper, but if you’re using any different kind of paper (totally dependent on how thick you’re laying on the highlighter) there could be a small amount of transfer on your fingers. I know this because my daughter (2 yrs old) uses them as crayons more often than I use them as highlighters and she lays it on THICK! In this case, it’s a tad bit messier than crayons. I prefer them to crayons because they won’t break and don’t require sharpening. You can twist the part on the bottom to make the highlighter longer, as you use it. They’re good for anyone who likes to color, honestly. Not just for kids. Important to consider: I’m not sure if they are non toxic or not. So if you plan on using them as crayons for your child and you’re little one has the tendency to bite, nibble or put things in their mouth, you should definitely read the product details before purchasing and check to see if they are non toxic or not. Thankfully my 2 year old is pretty good with not putting things in her mouth, after she’s been told not to. As far as art supply purchases for my daughter go, I can say that theses definitely get the most use. I ended up buying another additional pack with more fluorescent colors. **Q: Some of the customer videos show they bleed through Bible pages. Why do they say "no bleed through"?**
A: Hello Customers, I am using orange right now and have use several from my package and there not one page that has bled through. If it had Mr. Pen would've received them all back by now. If I recommend it you better believe it passes however if they're not working for you consult them about it. Mine are absolutely beautiful in my thin page KJV Bible no Bleed😀

**Q: Can I highlight my Bible with these?**
A: You sure can, I would recommend using the gel/Bible highlighters or the pencil highlighter.

**Q: I have used Sharpie gels and little pieces of the gel flake off on my pages. Do these do that?**
A: I bought these recently for Bible study and they started flaking from the very first line I highlighted. It seems to me that the darker the color, the more it flakes so the purple flakes the most and yellow flakes the least. I’ve been trying to not press too hard but they are still flaking. I’m a bit disappointed but I’ll continue to use them so I don’t waste the money I spent on them.

Great quality. Bold, saturated color. Works very well as a Bible highlighter. There’s absolutely no bleeding through the page, because the texture is more waxy (sort of like a crayon, but not quite). The colors blend together well and glide on like butter, which I love. These Mr. Pen Gel highlighters are one of the best gels available. Comes with vibrant colors that are excellent to use when you are note-taking or Bible studying. When you open the highlighters, you will see the tips are sharp which impressed some of the buyers and have a twist at the end like an eyeliner pencil. Purchasers have explained using these highlighters for bible study are excellent using when they are annotating, journaling and the highlighters do not smear or get your pages soggy because the textures are waxy like a crayon. Others said it is great to highlight textbooks without it being bled to the next page and when you’re working on detailed notes. A mentioned was said it depends on the kind of paper; they can be a small amount of transfer on your fingers.
