I like this one the best. I’ve had a few Remingtons and Norelcos, but they are dinosaurs (See Note 1). I’ve had some cheap goofy-name knock-offs. They’ve been good for the price, but they always get a couple of things wrong.PROs: * Shave heads work well. No pulling (when new). * Charges with any Micro-USB cable (see Note 2) * Trimmer works well (see Note 3) * Shows charge state, including for 5 seconds after you turn it off - Lithium-ion battery - No rubber surfaces to turn gummy after a few years - Nice price (but varies a lot…use camelcamelcamel)OKs: - Quiet - Dry or wet shaving (haven’t tried wet) - 120 minutes battery life (claimed) - Comes with a blade guard (but it pops off too easily during travel) - Travel lock - Lightweight (6.2 oz) - 1-year warrantyCONs: - None so far- - - Notes - - -Note 1: Norelco and Remington…their stupidity and arrogance showcased with their proprietary chargers and cords. What century is this? Who wants this? Then you’re supposed to pay $50 or $75 extra for things that should cost a couple of dollars more. Things like detailed charge status or more than 40 minutes of runtime.Note 2: Who wants 5 different charge cords on their bathroom counter? Who wants to bring (or forget) various cords when traveling?Note 3: I use the pop-up trimmer all the time….for sideburns, neck, and when any rogue hairs get too long for the rotary shave heads. This one is much better than my previous shaver because it extends 3/4” (vs 5/8”) and you can (sort of) use it in both directions (spring is strong enough to keep it from popping closed by mistake). This Phisco trimmer is not quite as good as a previous Norelco (extends 1” and better spring tension to support for trimming in alternate direction). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars IF YOU’RE ON THE FENCE, BUY IT *by M***0 on Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2020* TLDR at the bottom.I have only used it once, but I’m impressed. I am a woman with PCOS, so I grow hair in a lot of places women don’t want to grow hair, but the most difficult to deal with is my facial hair. I can basically grow a full beard if I want to, and since puberty I have had to shave my face every day, sometimes multiple times a day if I do something in the evening as I will get a “5 o clock shadow”. But in recent years on top of shaving with a normal razor I have always gone back over some areas with an electric shaver, usually a woman’s shaver that I had for other reasons to get hairs that are always missed with a manual razor, and to go over other areas the manual razor for whatever reason struggles to shave well. My old lady razor was a foil shaver and the foil had finally worn thru (all foil shaves get holes in them over time) so I decided to finally just buy a men’s electric razor since, well, I have men’s facial hair, to be honest. I used it straight out of the box on my face, without having shaved or anything yet this morning, as it is my day off, and so until I need to leave the house I like to take a break from that part of the routine. While it is an electric shaver, and no electric shavers are going to leave your skin completely smooth, it did to an impressive job on some pretty decent stubble. It had an excellent price point, it is very quiet and comfortable on the skin. It has a beautiful look, better than some higher end electric shavers, I love the digital display, as I can typically tell when it’s time to charge a razor, it’s nice to have that to avoid struggling to shave that last time before it gets charged. It is simple to use, the top flips right up to clean, super easy. I haven’t used the trimmer. Yet (might try it out to get the peach fuzz on the rest of my face, pro tip, makes for a better make up finish), but I’m sure it works fine and is a super convenient bonus, especially for men, which is the intended purpose of this item any how. It comes with a nice little bag for travel, and one of my favorite parts, the blade cover. I’m super impressed with the quality of this item for the price, and I’m glad I bit the bullet on it after looking at multiple shavers including well known brands (which the cheaper ones have bad reviews and the expensive ones are far too expensive), and other “unknown” brands, at least here in the states.I can’t speak for long term quality, replacing the blades, etc. But if I run into any issues outside of normal wear and tear I will update.TLDR: Buy this shaver if you’re on the fence, you won’t regret it.
