**Q: what is the price of a 4.5 lb bucket**
A: $52.98  10.50% tax (In Taxifornia) and increasing weekly.

**Q: Is there an expiration date for this product?**
A: The container has both an inner seal and the outer lid.  I am guessing that there is a distance expiration date as would be required for all foodstuffs.  However, my fish (we have 11 koi) eat the food at a rate that causes the issue of expiration dates to be unimportant.  It would be important to keep the food cool and dry.

**Q: Do you have to soak the food before giving it to them?**
A: No! you do not have to soak the food before giving it to your fish. The food simply floats on top of the water and the fish come up to the surface to feed on the Tetra. If your Goldfish are small you might want to make the bigger chunks bite size by crushing it a little with your fingers before dropping it in your tank or pond. If your fish are large just drop without crushing the food.

**Q: Why my fish eat this food all ?**
A: This food is specifically made for Gold Fish.

I am so happy to have finally found a fish food that says it is fish food flakes that is not actually crumbs! I have been buying fish food at a pet store and a big box store that claims to be fish food flakes. Those "flakes" look like crumbs. This item, the Tetra Goldfish flakes, has actual flakes. They are of various sizes, and if you need or want to make them smaller you can easily just press them and they will break up. I did this with a few of them just to vary the size of the flakes for variety to the fish. These are healthy fish food flakes. All the fish really seemed to like this new variety of fish food. It is a good quality item, an excellent value for the money, and very versatile, since it has healthy flakes in more than one color.

My fish really seem to enjoy this flaky food. It doesn’t have a pretty nasty smell, but the fish seemed to like it. Don’t need a lot and the little jar seems to last for a long time. Good price as well.
