A: The pivot is attached so it will not fall, like some articulated-arms lights that you can find. The only concern is about how much weight it will need to handle in other positions, but about the things get disconnected from the base, you are worry-free.

There are limitations with this product. The articulation of the joints is limited. It will not rotate, except where the iPad is attached and that is somewhat limited. Also, it took me a while to figure out how to place it for my Comfort and utility. It’s very sturdy. it’s actually a little stiff excessively strong at each joint, but that could be me. I do like the 360 rotation of the base.
