Review: One of my favorite knifes for EDC now. Worth the money! - I was looking for a new fixed blade knife for EDC concealed and open carry (I live in Florida and laws vary by state - check yours!) I researched many different blades and styles, and price ranges. For something that I may bet my life on between $100 and $200 is worth it. I like the slightly curved handle, and especially like the drawing of the knife into a Forward Grip or Reverse Grip from EDU. The sheath allows for various style of carrying. The blade and handle appear to be very well made. One of the deciding factors for this knife was the particular hardness of steel, 1095HC steel, that the blade is. It is not so hard to be brittle and hard to sharpen, and it's not too soft to nick, bend or dull quickly either. It is right in the middle of those things and allows the holding of an edge yet will work on harder cutting things. The blade will penetrate when needed and slash/cut also if held correctly and used correctly. I have now worn it for a couple of weeks and it is comfortable and easy to carry. And I worked with it for a few days (practiced drawing and slashing/ stabbing techniques before I carried it. I really like it and will post an update if that changes or I discover anything either outstanding or negative I have not seen yet.
