Then, you can investigate each hike further once you've chosen a top few. Each destination has a 3-4 page spread that has a map of a suggested route, parking details (have you ever driven in circles looking for the parking or trail entrance? no longer with this book!), and some descriptions of what you should expect. I am just getting started with it, but I have discovered two new hikes, one of which was BEAUTIFUL. I like getting to know different sites that I would not have ordinarily found. Very valuable if you are looking to get out and explore some of the nature around you!
