It's pretty nice and easy to put together. I just drove 300 miles on a trip and I did not notice any wind noise, probably because of its low profile. I did use the anti-rust lubricant on and fittings including all screws. One thing I noticed is the front logo plate rattles badly from poor welding. I remedied the rattling by cutting a piece of garage door rubber mounding and placed it behind the front of the logo plate and that did the trick. Poked holes to allow the plate screws to go thru the rubber mounding and screw securely to the cargo basket. I would highly recommend this basket. The basket tie down mechanism clamps did not exactly match up to my crossbars, but was close enough and I was able to tighten down the clamps enough. It’s lightweight also compared to other baskets. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Roof Rack! Simple to Assemble and Well Built *by on Reviewed in the United States November 5, 2024* I have wanted a rack for the top of my Jeep for some time now and necessity being the mother of Amazon purchases: I ordered and just received my WILDROAD Roof Rack Cargo Basket, Upgraded 4” Fence Car Roof Basket with Extension, 64"x 39"x 4" version today, and I couldn’t be more impressed! The entire experience, from unboxing to assembly, was a breeze. It took me only about ten minutes to put the rack together, and everything fit together seamlessly; I laid out the four sections, brought the middle section together with an effortless fit. Then brought the front and the rear sections to the middle section - no effort, no forced alignment - it simply all fit together. The holes lined up perfectly, and the supplied screws were more than enough—one extra included, which is always a nice touch. The assembly process was incredibly straightforward and could easily be completed by one person in under 15 minutes. Because there was no struggle with fitting parts or needing any adjustments, it was a hassle-free experience. I have to admit, I didn’t take any photos of the assembly because it went together so quickly that I didn’t even think to grab my camera before I was finished!Once assembled, the rack looks amazing—streamlined, sturdy, and sleek. It’s a solid, well-built piece of equipment that feels like it’ll stand the test of time, and it really adds a great look to my vehicle. When it stops snowing I'll see about a picture of it on the Jeep.A quick note on the scuffs mentioned in other reviews: Yes, there were some very minor scuffs on mine as well, but they do not expose any bare metal, and most of them came off with just a quick wipe from a cloth. These types of marks are typical with shipping and handling, and I honestly don’t think they detract from the overall quality of the product. If you’re expecting perfect cosmetic condition, you might be disappointed, but if you’re after a well-built, functional, and great-looking rack, you won’t regret it.In summary, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. The WILDROAD Roof Rack is easy to assemble, looks fantastic, and is clearly built to last. Thank you WILDROAD for making my roads a little less wild. (Okay I'm sorry.. it was just there... I digress) Five Stars Plus! Highly recommended! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great luggage basket at a fair price! *by on Reviewed in the United States September 11, 2026* Basket is of good quality and was easy to assemble. Finish was very good. Once assembled, unit did not lay flat but this was correct when the unit was mounted on my vehicle. I have Subaru aero crossbars on my Forester Sport. The clamps were too big and would not snug up on my crossbars. I had to fashion some shims from thick foam so I could mount the basket. Basket looks great on my Subaru and there is not as much wind noise as I thought there would be. Great product that I would purchase again. ## Frequently Bought Together - WILDROAD Car Roof Cargo Basket Combo of Upgraded 64"x 39"x 4" Roof Rack Cargo Basket with 21 Cubic ft Waterproof Cargo Bag, Cargo Net, Ratchet Straps and Anti-Rust Sealant - Autekcomma Roof Rack Cross Bars for Toyota RAV4 2019-2025 (Not Fit 2024 LE/Adventure/TRD Off-Road/Hybrid Woodland Edition).
