Review: If the vet recommends it … then I’m happy 😊 - After a very scary and stressful few weeks with my dog being extremely poorly, numerous vet visits, and lots of tests, we finally got some answers and discovered he was deficient in B12. Our vet specifically recommended Protexin Veterinary Cobalaplex, so I ordered this exact brand. I’ll be honest — when your dog is unwell and not eating properly, it’s incredibly worrying, so I was willing to try anything the vet felt would help support his recovery. He’s only been taking these for a couple of days, so it’s still early days, but I’m already noticing positive signs. His appetite has improved, which has been one of our biggest concerns, and he’s even started playing a little again, which feels like a huge step in the right direction. Seeing small bits of his personality coming back has honestly been such a relief. The capsules themselves are easy enough to use, and the chicken flavour definitely helps make them more appealing. The only small downside for me is the dosage instructions for smaller dogs. My dog is only around 8kg, so his dosage is either half a capsule daily or one capsule every other day. Splitting the capsules accurately can be a bit fiddly, especially when you’re trying to be precise. It would be really helpful if they offered smaller dose options or half-size capsules for smaller dogs, as that would make things much easier. That said, this is only a minor inconvenience compared to the benefits we’re already seeing. He’s still very much on the road to recovery, and I know this isn’t an overnight fix, but so far I’m really pleased with how things are going. If the improvement continues, I’ll be absolutely thrilled. Most importantly, this is a product recommended by our vet, which gave me confidence from the start. Review: Improved my cat's wellbeing. - A Vet recommended I try 'myProtexin' on my poorly 16 year old pussycat who is suffering from pancreatitus, weight loss, loss of appetite & kidney problems. Since taking 'MyProtexin' along with other significant dietary changes, I have noticed a marked improvement in his digestion. He has fewer episodes of sickness, he has developed a voracious appeitite and gained weight; he is returning to his old ways & is tearing around the house when having a funny five minutes, jumping up on our laps and is no longer distressed, disinterested or depressed, refusing to eat or giving up! As well as implementing 'myProtexin', I was lucky enough to have a dear niece who advised I adopt an holistic approach to improve my elderly cat's well-being and quality of life. I looked into this and oh my, what a difference, tender, loving care makes! I now hand feed my cat with Licky-Lix, (about five different flavours per day), chop up his wet-food into smaller pieces and dissolve one 'myprotextin' capsule into it. I replace his water jug with fresh water every day, (he prefers to drink from a jug in the bathroom, than water from a dish). I continually talk to him, sing to him, interact with him, play with him, brush him and I have put a sheepskin rug under the radiator in the bathroom, which is his go to place when we are not around and where he stretches, curls, paddles and lies upside down, whilst absorbing all the heat and warmth he can. He also has a box on the work top in the kitchen where he sits watching us, with his chin resting on the rim of the box, just letting the world go by; he is comfortable, happy, his health is improving, he goes in and out on his own accord and is enjoying his own and our company when he wants it! It is such a joy to 'see' my old cat back with us; he is very much his old-self again and I hope, if his quality of life remains as it is, he can live a contented life for many more years to come.

A: Hi there,

Dependent on the size of your pet, you give from 1/2 of a capsule to 2 capsules per day. So these can last anywhere between 30 days to 120 days. 

<10kg Cat/Dog - 1/2 capsule per day or 1 capsule every other day.
10-20kg - 1 capsule per day
>20kg - 2 capsules per day
