Battery life is great although I haven't used them for more than 4 hours straight yet.I have two and use them both at the same time whilst fitting a new kitchen. They do take a while to charge but charging them overnight is no problem as they can never overcharge.I had an issue with the first one as I didn't indicate that it was charging for over 10 minutes then suddenly kicked in to life. I guess because the battery was completely dead on arrival. The instructions do say that they are supplied fully charged but neither of mine were. Having said that the light is VERY bright. It is so bright that you get to learn not to look at the lens directly otherwise you would do some damage. The softer light setting is also good if you don't need a blinding light. I must admit it's more of a spot light than a flood light but it still does a good job. The only negative is the micro USB adapter for charging. For a product like this where only power is needed, there is no need to use a micro usb port which is flimsy and will end up breaking eventually. Barrel connectors are much more suitable. Other than that, great bit of kit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Robust, but could be more so. *by B***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 July 2018* I've had this for about 6 months, used it on and off, and it's been brilliant. 2 levels of light, the bright light floods quite well, and I used this mainly for under car work in a dimly lit garage. Never needed the red flashing light function. The charge seems to last well, and it holds the charge when it hasn't been used for a while, making it a great emergency light. And it's a powerbank as well, and I've charged my phone from it a few times without any problems.So, why not 5 stars? It's reasonably rugged, but perhaps not as rugged as it looks, the auminium handle split in the corner. Fortunately, the plastic protector is still holding it together. Perhaps it can be repaired with drilling and tapping in a screw.
