Metrolight 4748890002 HID Lamps Smart EcoBox, 250 Watts is a waterproof, rugged IP65 rated mounting box with 250 W Metrolight Smart HID Electronic Ballast designed for providing energy efficient solutions for high wattage, outdoor lighting retrofit projects. The 250w Metrolight EcoBox retrofit solution proves to be one of the most cost effective solutions in replacing existing 400w Metal Halide fixtures. Each 250 W unit is comparable in performance to a 100 W-105 W LED fixture but at a fraction of the upfront cost. The initial cost savings of the 250 W EcoBox can reach up to 50% or greater when compared to an LED 400 W Metal Halide equivalent. Metrolight Smart HID Electronic Ballast's superior lumen maintenance enables the use of lower wattage lamps without sacrificing maintained light levels. Replace existing 400 W magnetic HID fixtures to the more efficient 250 W Metrolight ballast without sacrificing light quality while saving up to 45% in energy usage. Save on energy while maintaining a consistent look and feel. Additional energy savings can be achieved through dimming via 0-10 V Analog devices or the built in Smart Dim pre-programmed auto-dimming profile. The Smart Dim profile can dim down up to 50% for 6 hours each day which is great for auto dealerships and other outdoor lighting projects where 100% light output isn't necessary. The 250 W ballast has a voltage that ranges from 120 to 277 V.
