Review: Lovely costume whatever kind of swimmer you are - Very pleased with this costume, it fits really well and is very comfortable to wear in the water. It has good bust support and properly covers all the bits you want cover when you swim and dive. I usually find costumes are too short in the body and/or drag the bust downwards which is very uncomfortable. I am a UK size 18 at the bottom and 16 at the bust and the 2XL fitted well. The material is stretchy but not at all thin.

**Q: What kinds of bust support does it have?**
A: It doesn't support there just thick pads covering the bust  as I've used it a lot they don't stay in place

**Q: Does this swimsuit have tummy control?**
A: No tummy control but it is flattering :)

I have to say though, that mine didn't last a year! I do swim a lot though (pools/sea water), still, I wouldn't recommend it as it didn't last very long!! At the end the costume became really loose/baggy!

**Q: Are these period swimming costumes**
A: No, they are not specifically designed to be period swim suits. They do not have a leak proof area like specially designed period underwear do. 

They are just regular swimsuits but with shorts instead of the high leg. 

These swimsuits are perfect for the more modest ladies who may not like their butt on show, or ladies who prefer not to have to shave their pubic area just to go for a swim.

But you will still need to wear whatever period containing method you normally use during a swimming session...tampon or cup, or whatever.

This costume is a great fit, true to size and well made. UPDATE- after a few months using this costume I still like it but the fading has been extreme. The dark grey side panels are now a very faded blotchy grey/pink colour. This doesn't affect the costumes performance but something to keep in mind if purchasing. I really like the way this costume fits. It's comfortable and doesn't ride up or rub. I swim in the pool twice a week and in the sea when the weather's good. This costume does the job brilliantly. I feel supported and it holds everything in place nicely! The cups have slight padding which I like as it covers my mastectomy nicely. The bra pads do fold in half during washing but has been easy to manoeuvre back in place before I put it on. The low leg is great too, not too low. It's a double layer costume which is fine, I'm not sure if it makes a difference keeping your core warmer, but it does effect useage slightly once you're out of the water... It doesn't dry as you are sat on the beach so you do chill down wearing a wet costume. Getting changed out of it isn't easy, especially if you're trying to be discreet on the beach. It needs a bit of effort to peel It off when it is so wet. In a changing room it's fine . As it holds the water in the costume once it's off, I've been putting the wet costume in a zip lock bag and that works really well stopping everything in my bag getting wet. The one time I forgot and wrapped it in my towel it stained the towel pink from the straps. This has annoyed me, but I do like the costume so can't complain too much. I normally wear size 8 but decided to get a size 10 and glad I did. It fits me well but the straps aren't adjustable so that might be an issue for some. The elasticity seems to be good. I would recommend this as a comfy bathing suit to use at the pool where there are decent changing rooms to strip off in. I do wear it to the beach but to be honest I might look for a more suitable costume that's easier to remove and dries quicker. If you use a dry robe to change under you might be ok! I would definitely recommend putting the wet suit in a ziplock bag due to the colour running. All in all really pleased with this bathing suit. I've just learned to make allowances with it.
