Review: Does what it says on the tin - Brilliant Tile Paint. I have used a few different tile paints over the years most not very successfully, to thin, runny, sticky etc. Johnstones tile paint was a wonderful surprise, it goes on beautifully, excellent coverage, drys quickly. Follow the prepping instructions carefully, I also used a little white spirit around the cooker hob to make sure all grease etc was removed and had a wonderful result, well pleased with the finish.

**Q: Can i use this on old floor tiles in a shower room?**
A: Paint not intended for floor tiles and could scuff badly. Might work if you only ever entered with bare feet and use towel floor mats.

**Q: Hi this paint is matt or shinny I Looking matt?**
A: It has a gloss finish

**Q: Is this paint suitable for a shower area over a bath?**
A: If you are painting over tiles already in this area, then I can’t see any reason why it won’t work - just make certain the the paint is properly dry before you use the shower as it seems to take a while to dry thoroughly. If the area isnt already tiled, then I couldn’t say whether just painting the wall with tile paint will work.

**Q: Is this paint suitable to paint acrylic paint designs onto? Once you've painted the tiles.**
A: Good Morning. Once the paint has fully cured after several days then Yes that should be OK, We would recommend a small Test area first and obviously should you wish to remove the painted areas later

Brilliant Tile Paint. Nice glossy finish. Good coverage - I used 3 coats but my original tiles were dark brown. It’s completely transformed the bathroom. You’ll need to cover any sealant with decorators caulk first or the paint won’t stick.
