Here's why I'm returning it: No beeswax scent: Pure beeswax has a distinct, pleasant honey-like aroma. This had no scent whatsoever — closer to odorless paraffin. Hard and brittle: Instead of being pliable or softening with warmth (as real beeswax should), it remained stiff and cracked when I tried to bend it. Color appears artificial: The bright yellow seemed unnatural, possibly dyed. Real beeswax comes in various shades, but it usually appears more natural and varied. Flame test failed: I attempted to burn a small piece. Instead of a clean flame and honey smell, it gave off a faint chemical odor and some smoke — classic signs of paraffin or synthetic additives. Unclear sourcing: The packaging indicates "Made in China," but provides no details on purity, filtration, or whether the product is cosmetic or food grade.
