A: Use it like polish

A: Unfortunately I cannot help as I do not use automatic car washes.  However I do clean my windscreen regularly and a Rain X application usually lasts about 12 'cleans'.

**Q: Can I use this on my ring doorbell 2 to stop it from misting up**
A: If it's mist  that suggests it's on the inside surface of the lens so no , applying rain x to the outside surface may stop the rain drops .- is the lens on doorbell plastic or glass? - rain x may damage plastic lens surfaces
