Or only a thin one?** A: They will work on both. I have used mine on a 23.5 tog duvet and a 4.5 duvet. **Q: Are these visible on the outside of the duvet cover** A: Yes they are visible but they are very small. They appear as a white plastic knob and sit proud at about 1cm height. The underside is a clear smooth disc and is undetectable in use. They are very secure with the magnet releasing them easily for simple removal. The pin goes through the duvet and cover and is fairly thick so gentle persuasion is advised so as not to damage the structure of the duvet when inserting. I find that the pin sometimes bends a little during use but nothing that it can't cope with. **Q: Has anybody had trouble removing them? I saw a bad review and I just wanna check they're easy to remove to wash the cover.** A: No problem whatsoever. it sounds like the person that could not remove them was not using the magnetic unlocker device that is provided. **Q: My duvet keeps coming away from its corners will this hold them in place ?** A: They are not heavy enough to keep the duvet away from the corners. One in each corner of the duvet and one halfway along each side. Ingenuously easy to affix and take off with the little magnet (make sure you don’t lose it!) I bought myself a set for my own duvet too.
