They are very original and have sort of a "Tron" look. Could be a little sturdier but holding up fine. The fact that I can daisy chain these fans is incredible. I've had as many as 24 on 1 controller and the impact on RPMs was minimal compared to 3 fans on 1 controller...difference was about 50-70 RPMs. However, the control box did get slightly warm. I now have 24 fans on 2 controllers (12 on each) and they're working great. Please note that the software only recognizes 1 controller so officially only 1 is supported per system. A simple USB KVM solves this issue and you can select which controller to control. The only reason to have the software installed (and use the control box) is to take advantage of the boost feature which can raise the RPMs to 2000. These are also controlled via PWM (if you want)...max RPM is about 1200-1300 when hooked up to a header with max on your fan curve. SO...to be clear you can have these hooked up via control box and PWM on your MB at the same time. Fans are powered by the control box via SATA and PWM controls their speed. This is the best option in my opinion. The software has a boost feature as I said which is useful for overclocking. The software's RGB options are actually not too bad. If you want to sync with your MB's RGB then you can't use the control box... They supply a cable that connects to the 1st fan then to PWM and RGB on the MB. From there you can daisy chain the fans...control box not used. In this scenario the biggest draw back is that you can't use the control box to power the fans and you'll have to rely on the motherboards fan header or external PWM card for example. I would not daisy chain 12 fans and power them by your motherboards fan PWM connector... The other major trade off in this scenario is that the max RPMs will then be 1300 approximately (because no control box, software and thus boost feature). So there are trade offs and compromises but overall these are great fans and I highly recommend them. They're great for radiators and have a static pressure of up to 2.77mmAg at 2000 RPMs (remember need control box hooked up for this). This is very impressive and higher than most of the competition. If you don't want to look at a million cables and control boxes (riing, corsair, etc) then you should definitely consider these. Hope this info helps...won't find it on their website, manual or any review I've seen...UPDATE after about 1 year: Fans are still working perfectly. RGB is working perfectly. I've used them in a few systems now. These are the best fans I've ever owned. Search jsp9000 on reddit to see a few videos of these fans in my systems. ### ⭐⭐ Great concept, feels cheaply made *by J***H on Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2018* Great idea and I loved the ability to chain the fans which cut down on the additional wiring to hide. Problem is they feel really flimsy and cheap. The entire unit flexes and bends really easily causing creaking and possible rubbing of the fan to the side of the housing.I ran into this when I was trying to install them into the front of a Corsair 900D. The short links between fans are actually a hinderance here as they don't allow for a lot of flex in the wiring and would sometimes end up pushing on the outside of the housing when placed to run down the side (so it would be jammed in between the case and the side of the fan). Other fans don't have this issue as they typically don't have a braided sheath, allowing them to take up less space width wise.
