Momentive RTV118 is a premium one-part translucent silicone sealant designed for professional-grade sealing and gap filling up to 1/4" wide. Its self-leveling consistency requires no tooling, making it ideal for hard-to-reach areas. ## Description

General purpose, one-part silicone sealant that cures to a tough, durable, resilient silicone rubber on exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature. Standard strength paste consistency product that can be applied to vertical and overhead surfaces where pourable / self-leveling sealants are not practical. Has excellant low and high temperature performance (-75° to 400°F). Can be used in food contact applications where FDA regulations apply (Reference: CDS4319). Recognized by UL under UL FIle # E-36952.

## Features

- One-part translucent RTV silicone sealant with a paste consistency for filling and sealing gaps or cracks up to 1/4" wide in indoor and outdoor applications
- Paste consistency allows for application on vertical or overhead surfaces

**Q: Is this safe for terrariums?**
A: This is a food safe silicone sealant that many use for aquariums so it should be fine for a terrarium.  It is definitely waterproof.

**Q: Does this product have a shelf life?**
A: Any RTV product I've ever used eventually dries up if not used within a period of time but i'm not sure how long that takes. You should only buy what you think you'll need for the job. They make this in a smaller tube if the calk gun size seems too much.
