When I came to this realization after I ordered it, I tried to cancel but the item had already been shipped. So I reluctantly decided to keep it hoping to think of some creative way to use my purchase in my hair. Until then, it lies at the bottom of my hair accessories basket joining others in the land of disappointing hair clips. 😞UPDATE: I've come up with a few creative uses for this clip that have made for some nice hairstyles! I still have to adjust for the fact that when I clasp it, it pulls my hair too tightly. But I've come up with other ways to compensate for that. So this little clip has been relocated to a more visible spot in my hair accessories basket. Depending on how you put them in, they may cause some discomfort but you just have to be sure to catch all your hair together and hold firmly as you put it in. As long as you don't feel any tension during placement, you won't feel tension once in. I even use mine overnight, if I want a more stretched look, but you have to follow with a nice puffy loose scrunchie directly above it to prevent creasing.
