I bought the 5 quart, and I was a bit concerned it may be too large for my needs. However, the above photo shows I cooked 4 chicken thighs, and it was a perfect size. The pan was delivered promptly and in solid packaging. It is a substantial pan, with some weight, but this tells me it can do the job. I browned the thighs and vegetables first on the stove, and it maintained an even heat throughout, and created a nice “crust” for gravy. Right from stove top to oven to finish it off for 40 minutes, and the chicken was so tender and moist!
