The glass is thick and the adjustable grinders work great! I also like the carry tray.We filled them with Himalayan Sea Salt and Black Malbar Pepper. I love getting the minerals from the salt, but be careful if Iodine table salt is your only source of iodine in your diet and you switch to sea salt.
