They look great and are very versatile. The issue I have had with both is that the metal threaded cylinder fails - the threads just break under pressure. Once it's broken, there's nothing you can do unless you want to hunt for a new threaded retainer. I did this and found quality steel ones - Happy days...a £2.00 more. Unfortunately, the strew shafts are made of the same soft metal as the retainers and faced with the strong steel threads, the shaft just de-threaded.The material in these cheap brackets is not up to the task of holding a cycle light firm and in place and that compromises my safety.
